1. Acceptance

By installing, accessing or using Halo Tab, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the extension or related services.

2. Use of Halo Tab

You may use Halo Tab for personal or work productivity in accordance with applicable law. You may not misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, reverse engineer hosted services, bypass security controls, interfere with other users, or use Halo Tab for illegal, harmful or abusive activity.

3. Accounts

Some features may require an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of account information you provide and for keeping access to your browser profile and email secure.

We may suspend or limit account features if we reasonably believe there is fraud, abuse, security risk, payment failure or a violation of these terms.

4. Plans, subscriptions and payment

Free features may change over time. Paid plans, when available, renew automatically according to the billing period, currency, tax treatment and price shown at checkout unless cancelled before the next billing date.

You are responsible for reviewing the checkout details before purchase, including plan name, renewal period, price, applicable taxes, trial terms if any, cancellation terms and refund terms.

Refunds are handled according to the Refund Policy, Paddle buyer terms where Paddle processes the order, and any mandatory consumer protection rules that apply to your purchase.

5. Paddle orders

For purchases processed through Paddle, Paddle acts as Halo Tab's authorized reseller and merchant of record for the order. Paddle handles payment processing, receipts, sales tax or VAT where applicable, subscription billing, buyer payment support and eligible returns.

Paddle's buyer terms and privacy notices apply to the payment transaction. Product support remains available from Halo Tab at support@halotab.com, and Paddle order support is available from the links in your Paddle receipt or at paddle.net.

6. Your content and workspace data

You keep ownership of your quick links, notes, todos, uploaded wallpaper files and other content you add to Halo Tab. You grant Halo Tab the limited permission needed to store, process, display, sync and support that content as part of the product.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload or use wallpapers, links, notes and other content you add.

Important: do not upload content you do not have permission to use, especially copyrighted wallpapers or private information belonging to others.

7. Third-party websites and services

Halo Tab may connect to search engines, websites, payment providers, authentication providers, browser APIs and other third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party content, policies or availability.

8. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Halo Tab at any time by uninstalling the extension or deleting local data. We may suspend hosted account features when required for security, abuse prevention, payment failure or legal compliance.

9. Changes, availability and disclaimers

We may update, improve, suspend or discontinue parts of Halo Tab. The product is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent allowed by law.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Halo Tab is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill or business opportunities.
